Menu

One file, gui.yml. /aquavirtual gui opens it, and staff can open someone else’s with /aquavirtual gui <player>.

gui.yml
menu_title: '&8AquaVirtual | %player% (%page%/%pages%)' size: 54

Content

The spawners are drawn into slots, in that order, one page per full set.

gui.yml
content: slots: [10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34] show_expired: true

A spawner is rendered with the template matching its state, so the four look different without any conditions in the file.

TemplateUsed for
storedOwned, not in the world
placedA real block, producing mobs
frozenPaused by staff
expiredOut of time
emptyShown in the first slot when the player owns nothing
gui.yml
placed: material: SPAWNER amount: 1 model_data: 0 display_name: '&#56FF00&l%mob% &7#%id%' lore: - '&7State: %state%' - '&#33CCFFTime left: &f%time%' - '&#33CCFFLocation: &f%location%' - '' - '&#FFA42DLeft click to teleport' - '&#FFA42DRight click to pick it up' left_click_commands: - '[teleport] %id%' right_click_commands: - '[pickup] %id%' - '[refresh]'

previous and next are the page arrows, each with its own slot.

Fixed items

Anything under items sits in a fixed slot and is not tied to a spawner.

gui.yml
items: info: material: PAPER slot: 49 display_name: '&#33CCFF&lYour Spawners' lore: - '&#33CCFFSlots: &f%used%&7/&f%limit%' - '&#33CCFFNext expiry: &f%next%'

Actions

ActionDoes
[teleport] <id>Goes to that spawner
[pickup] <id>Picks it up
[page] next|previous|first|last|<n>Turns the page
[refresh]Redraws the menu in place
[close]Closes it
[command] <command>Runs a command as the player
[console] <command>Runs it from the console
[message] <text>Sends a line

The id is optional on [teleport] and [pickup] inside a spawner template, since the clicked item already knows which one it is.

An action can stop the rest of the list. [teleport], [page], [refresh] and [close] always do, so put them last. [command], [console] and [message] always carry on.

[pickup] only carries on when the pickup actually worked. That is why the shipped placed template ends with [refresh]: the menu redraws after a successful pickup, and stays untouched when the click was refused.

Placeholders

On a spawner item:

PlaceholderIs
%id%The spawner id
%mob%Its mob, coloured
%state%Stored, Placed, Frozen or Expired
%mode%Its duration mode
%level%Its level
%time%Time left
%total%Its full lifetime
%progress%How much of it is used
%location%Where it is placed
%mobs%Mobs it has produced

On the menu itself:

PlaceholderIs
%player%The owner being viewed
%used% / %limit%Slots
%stored% %placed% %frozen% %expired%Counts per state
%next%Next expiry
%page% / %pages% / %total%Paging

Any %aquavirtual_*% placeholder works here too.
